I was in an AirBnB within walking

distance of a lake.

Took time in the mornings to visit

to see what I could find.

I went to Madison to attend a Nalanda Miksang
photography retreat with my teacher, Miriam Hall.

Lovely time spending a week shooting
in the cool weather!

I love these paddle boats

that you can take into the lake

by the Houston Zoo.

I haven't ridden in one

for years and years.

But it is fun to watch people

try to get around in them.

And to photograph the reflections!

It has been wet and cold here in Houston.

Now I know our temps are not like

the rest of the States, but for us

it is colder than normal temps

I have the fireplace going to night

and am bundled up!

the weather is supposed to be dry
