A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio.
This is a picture of a tree stump and was one to test the idea of Zen.

The portfolio review last night was a lot of fun.
I got a lot of positive feedback on my images, at least most of them.
The "pushing the envelop" images were not as well received, 
but I knew going into the reviews that could happen.
Inspired to go out shooting!

Artist statement written and reviewed by my English major hubby.
Tonight is the open public viewing of all the portfolios.

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio. 
Another object arrangement or Ikebana-like photograph.
I have ordered my black mats for the portfolio review.
They should arrive by the end of the week and I will be prepping for the portfolio events next week.
One is an open event for the public to view all the portfolios.
The second private event falls the next night where we choose reviewers to work with: 
15 minutes per reviewer to get feedback on our body of work, 
we'll be talking to multiple reviewers that night. 

Still need to get that artist statement written, as well!
