Racing the Morning
This is a colorful burst of sunlight and energy as three horses race across the canvas. The details of this painting are gorgeous. Stop by the link above and see it up close and personal.
Terry is healing nicely. He has four more days of restrictive living and he is counting the moments. This morning we awoke to the smoke detector going off... and that involved a ladder and a climb. He stayed in his boundaries changing out the battery but we made note that the ladder my dear father bought us 23 years ago was getting feeble...just like us. So next week after NASCAR has left the area, we will stop by and get a new ladder. Makes the climb a bit less shaky.
Also on the ladder the day before having to shove screen inside on of our side vents on the house. Birds had figured out how to flip the facial door on in (the dryer vent) and were inside building away. I held the tall 20 footer yesterday keeping him steady...no looking down, no bending down and no picking up anything above 20 pounds. I did not see NO CLIMBING ladders on the list from the doctor.
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
