Awww.. you have to admit this is a face to die for..
This is my own sweet Pebbles in his bed which he totally destroyed a while ago.
Bad boy..
It's the craziest thing, but while painting Pebbles, I could see his brother, Bam Bam (yep, you heard right :))) ) while the image evolved.
His face changed marginally throughout the painting, however I am (I think) close to his personality..which for me is more important than the likeness.
He is such a laid back doggy, thoughtful, and always those eyes follow me everywhere.
This is a pastel on velour paper.
10.5 x 12.5" unframed.
