I actually got the idea for this painting, from none other, that the "picture" that came with a frame I purchased at the local craft store. I thought it was a nice composition. Although I've never been to Europe, it did make me think this is how it must look. I left out a couple of things, such as the gutter on the building, and the chain that was used to tie the bike to the gutter. I did not think they would add to the painting. Enjoy!
