Pink Halos Peonies by Nancy Medina

Pink Halos Peonies is a last hurrah, a little nod goodbye to the lovely fresh peonies that have occupied Flower Mound Studio this week. They made their debut at my Dallas Arboretum class Saturday, but have hung in there bravely under my studio heat lamp (aka spotlight) each evening since. Tonight when I touched the flowers, the petals fell to the tabletop, like shattered pieces of glass. The flowers were done. Thank you so much for what you gave little peonies, what a rare gift for Texas in the fall!
