Frivolity

Frivolity began as a demo for a watercolor class I am teaching.

I decided to work into it even after the class had fuinished, just to see where it would take me.

As I began the wet into wet painting on an easel, the run marks were extremely interesting to me.

I decided to make a back panel for an anchor point and then enhance some of the run marks to become stalks for balance.

This is a full sheet of buff colored watercolor paper.
22" x 30" (unframed.

All inquiries and comments are very welcome.
Prints of this image and all my work may be prurchased through Fine Art America.
